How are your hire charges calculated?

All hire periods are calculated from when equipment leaves the shop to when it is returned.
Hire start and finish times can only be during our business hours.

  • 4 Hours – Any 4 hour period during business hours (Taken and returned the same day)
  • 8 Hours – Any period longer than 4 hours, during business hours (Taken and returned the same day)
  • 1 Day – Any 24 hour period, taken and returned during business hours (e.g. 10:00am – 10:00am)
  • 2 Days – Any 48 hour period, taken and returned during business hours (e.g. 10:00am – 10:00am)
  • 3 Days – Any 72 hour period, taken and returned during business hours (e.g. 10:00am – 10:00am)
  • Week – Any 7 day period, taken and returned during business hours (e.g. 10:00am – 10:00am)
  • Weekend – Taken any time during business hours on Saturday and returned before 10:00am on Monday
  • After 1 week, each additional day (24 hours) will be charged at 1/7th of the weekly rate
